About Us
We are a small, independent retail shop based in the market town of Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire, specialising in luxury tea, coffee, preserves and artisan food. We stock a wide range of premium tea sourced from a variety of boutique tea companies who use carefully selected leaves from some of the world’s finest tea gardens and estates. In addition to these beautiful tea offerings we also stock an excellent selection of fresh coffee and coffee beans, artisan biscuits, home-made cakes, luxury chocolate, hand-made fudge and preserves. Each item is not only chosen for it’s exceptional quality but also for it’s uniqueness and potential to provide that little extra element of luxury as a gift or as part of a bespoke or seasonal hamper collection.

We are a family-owned business with a long history operating and working within the catering and hospitality sector. Working locally since 1998 providing delicious home-made food for private parties, corporate events and weddings, was where our journey first started. Whether it was a simple finger buffet for a business lunch at the town hall or an elaborate five course wedding dinner, we consistently strived to deliver exceptional food that was both delicious and elegantly presented. Over the years and after many successful ventures from fine dining at elite venues, historic houses, cosy country pubs and quaint village tea rooms, we are proud to still be working within the food industry and supporting so many like-minded businesses.

Afternoon Tea
Our experience as successful tearoom owners gave us a unique insight into the tea industry and inspired our quest for new and exciting teas. In 2020 we began looking at new brands of tea and luxury preserves to complement our cream tea and afternoon tea menus. Ordering lots of delicious samples of chutney, jams and relishes we discovered a wide selection of very high-quality products that were hand-crafted, creative and made using the very best ingredients. Each individual producer, maker or baker also had their own inspiring story and with a mission to bring their stunning products to new customers we set about finding ways to make this possible and opened our first store in 2022.

Retail Shop
After successfully restoring and bringing an old vintage shop back to life we set about creating our very own boutique store to be filled with an assortment of luxury tea and fine foods. Retaining many of its original features and introducing a few little elements of our own, we are proud to say that our store is a 'hidden gem' where you can enjoy shopping and browsing our products in a friendly and welcoming environment. So, whether you are ordering online, or popping in to create your own hamper, we hope you have a wonderful experience, browsing, shopping, sampling and tasting all of our fantastic products.
