The Tea & Pantry Co. is a family-owned independent business established through a passion to bring luxury tea and fine foods together to create beautiful hampers and gifts. Our experience as successful tea room owners gave us a unique insight into the tea industry and inspired our quest for new and exciting teas. In 2020 we began looking at new brands of tea and luxury preserves to compliment our cream tea and afternoon tea menus and so began our new venture into the retail world. Ordering lots of delicious samples of chutney, jams and relishes we discovered a wide selection of very high quality products that were hand-crafted, creative and made using the very best ingredients. Each individual producer, maker or baker had their own inspiring story and with a mission to bring their stunning products to new customers we set about finding ways to make this possible and opened our first boutique store in 2022.

​After months of hard work we successfully restored and refurbished an old town centre property, bringing a traditional vintage shop back to life and adding much needed retail charm back to our high streets. Retaining many of it's original features and introducing a few contemporary elements of our own, we are proud to say that our little store is a 'hidden gem' where you can enjoy shopping and browsing our products in a friendly and welcoming environment.

 

As a mother and daughter team who love vintage shops, makers markets and places where you can mooch to your hearts content, it brings us no end of joy to be able to contribute to our home town and support other local businesses and institutions. We are committed to providing the best possible products for our customers, with each item meticulously hand-picked and packed at our store with care and attention to detail.
